Announcing The Community Edition Project 2025
Does anyone know if this year the Community Edition Nothing 3a will still be in limited quantity like the previous year ? Many people worked and desired that phone and yet only 1000s were produced. You should make the phone avaible for everyone since not only 1000 people are submmiting to you.
Also nobody last year received an appreciation, an automated e-mail at least or a discount as a thank you. You cant rely on people to spend time and work and then try to sell their work to make money. I love Nothing phones i dont love taking advantage over the faithful customers or fans.
This just a feedback for you guys, hope this Comumunity Edition will be different this year

Would we be able to change the clear back plate? I have a few ideas
make a cherry blossom inspired phone, which is pink. Or inspired from nature or species. or the doom’s day fish that recently came out for more attention. Or Leviathan
Based on this template I would assume not. The light grey areas are limited to the core colours white, black and blue. I’m assuming the back glass will remain just a clear piece of glass.
I’ve already submitted my proposal! It was something I had in mind, and I hope you like it!

Romain Phone (2a) Plus existence leaked as early as early April 2024, before you original concept was submitted, as you can imagine this is not something that is made in a few weeks and require a lot of preparations before release, in the end, it’s a 2a with a metallic/grey finish and certainly not a copy of your concept
