Phone (3a/Pro) Battery Life Discussion
We’re so sorry for making you have a bad experience of power consumption.
When a new device is first used, there will be some data synchronization, application updates, system optimization and other behaviors, which will lead to increased power consumption. I would like to ask if you still have power consumption problems now. Is the screen on or off? Can you provide specific scenarios for the screen turning on? Are you willing to follow the following instructions to capture a power consumption log so that we can better solve your problem? Thank you.
1、Enter the dial pad and enter *#*#570#*#*
2、Select “Power Consumption”
3、Check the bugreport and click “Start capture”
4、Normal use of the phone for about half an hour
5、Enter the dial pad again and enter *#*#570#*#*
6、Click“Stop capture” and back to log tool main interface
7、Click the upper right corner to enter the Log list
8、Long press the corresponding log file name and select “Copy to SDCard”
9、Open the file manager and find the “NTShareLog” folder. Upload the file to Google Drive and share it. Provide a link to the drive.
Kind regards,

BartekZiemniewicz use custom for long term battery health and if you don’t use the phone much
But if I use my phone a lot, then is it still better to use custom?
Just bought my Nothing Phone 3a two days ago, and notice there is a significant battery drain issue for Nothing Launcher. It drops about 10% for a night idling. During daytime it also consumed about one fifth of my usage. It is truly an unpleasant experience for me. Does anyone has a solution on this? Thank you.

Is anyone facing battery drain issues on nothing phone 3a. I am having a battery drop of 10 to 12 or sometimes 7 to 8 percent in an hour of normal usage like calling texting or browsing on 4g. Does anyone think it’s okay or should I get it checked. Also is the power button of your 3a a little wobbly? Waiting for a reply thank you.
Orion_7u-op I guess that could be considered normal based on the number of apps installed, the number of apps running in the background, the screen brightness and other factors. If it gets worse, I would suggest visiting a service centre to get it checked.
In my case, battery drain got even worse and suddenly, the phone stopped charging altogether. I had to visit the service centre and get the phone replaced. No issues with the new phone yet.
harisuresh06207 bro I just ran Pokemon unite for 30 minutes and it drained about 8 to 9 percent of the battery and yesterday it it dropped only 3 to 4 percent of it the battery backup is very inconsistent. Can you tell how can I find my nearest service centre. Or how did you get in contact with them. Also can I go to the service centre after 10 days as I have some work. I purchased the phone on launch day. Thank you.

Orion_7u-op if battery drain is in 10-12% per hr then it’s normal not an issue if less than this then why to worry
SamarthNP1 The problem I face is when I charge it to 90 then it drains by 7 percent in half an hour and then drains by 10 to 12 percent in an hour. Anyways I will update after few days.
OngTzeSean explain clearly at night it turns out you don’t use it and the charge is arbitrarily consumed by 10%? Without using it? If so, then this is not normal, the norm is 3-5% overnight without using it!
Orion_7u-op that a software issue on all phone I recommend to charge to 90% and record the battery drain per hr and then charge to 100 and then record you will see that on charging to 100% battery drain is lower than charging to 90%
Anonymous407 yes I didn’t use it, just put it aside at night. It might be too new, hope that after a week or two the synchronization process completed it will back to normal.
