I would like to suggest a very important improvement regarding the power-off functionality of your mobile devices. Currently, anyone can turn off the phone directly from the lock screen, without requiring any form of authentication. This poses a potential security risk, especially in the event that the phone is lost or stolen, as it prevents the user from tracking the device or remotely securing it.

To enhance security and prevent unauthorized shutdowns, I recommend introducing an authentication feature that requires a password, PIN, fingerprint, or other form of verification before the phone can be powered off from the lock screen. This would provide an additional layer of protection, particularly in critical situations.

Bimalprjena this feature is really great but I’ve heard a few iPhone user complaint about these voicemails taking up the storage space, so if somehow Nothing can figure out to bypass this problem then surely we can have it as a cool new feature, for suggestions I’d like to say that this feature should be provided with the ability to turn on and off at will then maybe we can have a better user experience

    Spike how about freedom to put any short video or gif as live wallpaper, i should be able to select different live wallpapers for home screen and lock screen.

        I have low vision and I generally use my phone with maxed out font size and screen zoom settings. This generally leads to app scaling issues and makes most of the apps unusable.

        I tried this out on nothing 2a plus and noted that the text size at max settings is smaller than what I see in oneui. probably done to avoid scaling issues .

        It would be very nice to have bigger font sizes and screen zoom without affecting app scaling so much.

        A larger screen can also help in this regard..

        Would help people like me a lot if these inputs could be incorporated in your upcoming phones/updates..

        Every time I look at my lock screen, I see a cluster of notifications, and it feels cluttered. I think it would make the phone much cleaner if notifications could be hidden from the lock screen by default and only appear when swiping to a specific side. This would make the lock screen easier to read while also improving the visibility and accessibility of notifications.

        Hey, i wonder if devs can add this as an optional setting. I want able to do that because when i screenshot i don’t want the whole screen all the time and i don’t save screeshots very often. So, the three finger screenshot mode is great because i can select the part i want and it can get deleted after it is shared. When it comes to the gesture well… not for me. I wonder what community think about this too.

        The new OS 3.0 has made excellent changes and I think this may add more towards the OS customisation as well as user experience. They are:

        1. Always on Display: if we introduce more types of clocks and alignment towards AOD the user can decide which one suites them.
        2. Notification panel: I think most of them use two icons for mobile data as well as wifi then it’s better to show seperate in pop up window.
        3. Nothing Gallery App 2.0: One of the best decision made by nothing on the basis of feedback was the introduction of Gallery App, but still there are certain things needs to be added for editing and stuff we still need to rely on other App. If you can add presets and adjustment in App itself it would have been great.
        4. Advanced Text Capture : As we use certain apps there are some app where we are not able to select text . If you can implement use AI like what Samsung’s One UI then we would be able to capture text from screenshot too.
        5. Introduction of Dialer App and contacts: If nothing can bring new dialer and contact app it would be great. The increase of customisation and Animation such as full screen photo etc which we use to see in iOS would be great.

        These are some of my suggestion which would be great if we add in next R&D.
