Out of pure habit I find myself querying for apps when I need them quickly. The only apps I don’t query are widgets. In light of it I would love to find a way move the home screen pages around so I can have my primary home screen as the middle and I could move left or right to get to different widgets better. In short a drag an drop feature in the customize settings.
Nothing OS Wishlist Megathread | Session 2025
I adore how the Calendar widget works. I recommend a swipe down gesture to see the previous day. It would be more fun, intuitive and just make sense. The widget would be working as a literal mini calendar.

Hey Nothing,
I know your main market is in India, and I’ve realised the temperatures over there , or in other eastern countries are not able to run most phones correctly, at least with my snap gen 8 +.
I live in Portugal with no issues whatsoever, but taking in account that my maximum temperature, even when charging be like 30o celsius, probably throttling at 40 on summer days, this would be a good feature for people to stop to rightfully complain.
Analyse your demographics and do not shows us promo trailers/ first looks in Britain.
That must be breaking their phones faster than a bullet with the most random bugs, which i do never encounter. Dunno how other brands manage it.
Which over-heating all the time at 40 celcius… lol. one year old phones must be on the verge of collapse, since you can do (Nothing) on the hardware level.
Ofc it can cook 2 eggs while gaming for some.
I know downclocking should not do much without a big hit on performance, but an improvement/ option is always welcome.
Just do not do it the Apple way.
I personally would like that feature. I have no need for so much horse power over here.
It was on my mind to install a custom rom and play with that, but not worth my time or warranty.
Regards
edit: 12 degrees celcius exposed to sunlight with light browsing and listening to music. battery temperature 35o.
Personally i am fine with that, but check your google analytics guys
I’ve changed from Xiaomi, and while there’s stuff that have improved, there’s still settings I miss. I’ve made a small list, that’d be great If changed
Shortcuts
- with the Buttons on the bottom, you could set it up, that if you longpress the buttons, it’d take a screenshot, open Gemini, etc. I miss easy Screenshot taking, without having to press both Buttons on the sides of the phone
Calculator
- With Xiaomi, it was possible to change the calculator to change the currencies of different countries, use different lengths of measure, and to measure your bodyweight, all in one app, without having to exit the app
Second User:
It was possible to change the users without having to Change the profiles, but only writing the different Log in codes, it’s automatically sets the right user. It’s possible now too, I just miss that I don’t have to change the profiles, and that the apps I downloaded appear in the first User profile
Picture hiding:
- The whole point of that is for people not finding these picrures, but with the current settings, it automatically shows how many picture is in “hiding Mode”
Essential Space
- I’d love to use it as a note taking app, but right now it’s pretty useless for that. I’d love if they were to find some other use for it.
Glyph Interface:
The glyph is the best thing in all Nothing phones, but it’d be great If more third party apps could use it.
Eg. the alarm app, since it can open Spotify and play music, I’d love If őt could use the glyph too
The ability to schedule power-on and power-off! Or for the alarm to auto-power on the phone if it’s powered off

I wish Nothing to stay closer to the original android open ecosystem more than leaning towards an Apple closed approach.
I love the design idea nothing pursues, still keeping the base android as clean as possible. And I think that’s where the community should take responsibility and build around, and I love this idea.
I wouldn’t like an another Samsung/Xiaomi android brand with it’s closed ecosystem on an open platform.

Hey Nothing Team & Community Folks!
Right now, the Nothing Launcher offers two types of app drawer layouts:
- Default – A simple list of all apps.
- Smart (Beta) – Automatically categorizes apps into predefined sections.
The Smart Drawer is great, but I think we also need an option to create custom folders inside the app drawer.
- This would let users organize apps their way, instead of relying only on predefined categories.
- Similar to how Motorola Launcher allows custom folders, this would help keep the app drawer clean and efficient.
- It would make accessing frequently used apps faster without cluttering the home screen.
Would love to hear what you all think! Hope the Nothing Team considers adding this.

- I propose a lock screen widget that displays the time elapsed since the user last unlocked their phone.
- This feature helps users become more conscious of their screen time, especially those who frequently check their device without a specific purpose.
- To encourage mindful usage, users will earn points for staying off their phones for designated time intervals or when they are on DND mode.
- These points can be accumulated and redeemed for goodies, providing a sense of achievement and satisfaction.
- This system not only promotes healthier digital habits but also gamifies the process, making it more engaging and rewarding.
please introduce the smooth sweep of the second hand of an automatic watch in real life, into the watch/clock widget.
Can we get our own calling app with better customisation ? Google calling app is not good and the calling history get vanished after a month
Every UI including volume slider in control centre but where is nothing.
Why only Roboto & Inter?
Please please please, need more professional font styles, minimum 10
Why Google dialer and message app have different font? It must be same font all over the system and applications
