I have a CMF PHONE 1 and I bought a Fiio JD1 Type C version but there was a loud crackle whenever a notification was received or Google Assistant was activated.

Once I was having lunch while I received 7 notifications at once. The next thing I remember is returning the IEM. The static was so deafening but it never occurred on my iPad Air M2 or my Samsung Galaxy Tab A7.

Several users reported the same with DACs (the IEM I bought had an inbuilt DAC). I think Nothing should address this ASAP. I’m planning to buy the Moondrop Chu II but I’m hesitant that it would turn out to be the same scenario as the Fiio JD1.

Moderators plesse send this to the Software team. Other users who’ve experienced the same issue please tell if there a workaround until Nothing Team fixes this Bug!

    Guru Same problem with me. Using my Moondrop Dawn Pro and using Poweramp, when start to play song the volume is cracking/ hiss loudly. To remove the effect i need to play-pause-play and repeat them until the crackle gone.

    But when i use other player that support “Exclusive USB Audio Access Mode”/ bypass, like UAPP, the crackle/hiss sound isn’t appear.
