Kyle Not a fan of this move, I feel the goal should be to get rid of proprietary, closed systems like iMessage and towards more open systems like RCS and Signal. This really feels like giving in and accepting Apple’s dominance.
I thought Nothing was supposed to do the opposite of this, by making iPhone users accept Android. This really feels like Nothing saying that Android isn’t good enough.
I bought a Nothing Phone 2 and Nothing Ear 2 to prove that Android isn’t just good enough, it’s better. (And because they’re really good products. 
)
I cannot wait to download this on Friday and see how it interacts with my family’s iPhones! Great work from the team, I love the commitment to building windows, instead of walls. Another great addition from this wonderful Tech Brand!

Super excited about this and love to see this. However, from a security standpoint I am curious what is going to be done to ensure iCloud data is never breached. With Sunbird, Beeper, etc. you’re essentially just logging into a remote Mac with your iCloud ID. That’s a lot of trust in data privacy ensuring no one accesses that Mac physically or remotely, gaining access to your iCloud account. It’s definitely great to see Nothing pushing the boundaries here and disrupting the walled garden, but I just hope many consider what the cost of that could be by handing over your keys to said walled garden. Can’t wait to see what else Nothing does to further the disruption!
