I have exactly the same problem.
I have also informed nothing.
Let’s see what comes out of it.

Tried different cables, with and without USB debugging without success unfortunately. Then tried it with a few other cell phones and it works without any problems.

I have an Opel Astra K, this car has Bluetooth function, but not for Android Auto, for this I have to use the USB socket, unfortunately I only have one of them omit I could not try it on others.

I hope Nothing fixes this problem quickly.

mikk_viidul even I am facing similar issue. I got same response from Nothing. Unfortunately, I am clueless on how to remediated it as I tried almost everything

SnehalRege I’ve been going back and forth with nothing’s support. They asked me for log files and they promised to look into it and get back to me

My android auto works perfectly for the 3a pro

I also have a problem with Android Auto, and interestingly, it worked at first. I think the issue started after one of the updates. I tried connecting to an Opel Astra and a Honda Civic — in both cases, the connection still works with my old phone, so the cable and the cars are fine. (Nothing 3a)

Hello, greetings from Mexico, here I have a similar problem, I can’t make Android Auto work in a 2018 Chevrolet Spark, when trying with 3A Pro appears on the vehicle screen that connects a compatible device and previously I had the 2nd and worked very well.

mikk_viidul I had the same! You should delete every update from the andorid auto app, clear cache, than update it in the playstore. Also reset everything regarding andorid auto on the car. After that it should be OK.

Im facing the same issue. What should I don’t tried the debugging thing. Its not working at all.

        @“Kriszti_nheged_s”#P157650 I already did, it doesn’t work

Subject: Issue Connecting Nothing Phone 3a to Android Auto

        Dear Nothing Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out regarding an issue I’m experiencing with my Nothing Phone 3a. I’m unable to connect the device to Android Auto in my car, despite following all the recommended troubleshooting steps, including:

        Trying different USB cables

Testing on different USB ports in the car

Updating Android Auto and system software

Clearing cache and storage of Android Auto

Enabling developer mode and checking USB settings

Unfortunately, nothing has resolved the issue so far. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this, as Android Auto is an important feature for my daily use.

        Looking forward to your support.

        Best regards,

        Al O.

Technical support reads these comments ???

Al_Obed Please provide your car model and year, we need to reproduce this issue and analyze

I am very interested in the Nothing 3a, but I use Android Auto on my motorcycle on a daily base.

So using a cable isn’t an option.

Can’t be that hard to fix this probleem?

Pls don’t make me buy a Samsung phone 😉

I’ve been experiencing the same issue with my NothingFont 3a (PRO), which I bought recently. I can’t get it to connect with Android Auto in my 2021 Skoda Kamiq. From what I can see, the system identifies the device as “Volcano QRD-SN…” instead of recognizing it as a Nothing Phone (as it does in Bluetooth connection). I’m not sure if this is what’s causing the USB connection problem, this id isn’t the same of Bluetooth connection.

Same problem here_ AA used to work perfect with cable on oneplus nord and apple iphone
Used same cable and get Volcano QRD …
can’t reset settings on Car. resetting on phone did not work
