Mazharuddin Nothing uses bimonthly security update cycles as mentioned multiple times above. There is no March update for CMF Phone (1), the next one will be April. On the opposite, Nothing Phone (2) and (2a) won’t get an April update, since their next cycle would be in May.

    It would be NICE to know that NOTHING uses a bimonthly (or semi-monthly), i.e. every two months, update policy prior to purchase.

    I guess that’s the cost of being an early CMF adopter. You have no history to check against.

    It’s already april and no update still iam regretting buying it no regular update as they told that they would provide update every 2 months but it’s already mid of april iam facing too much issue in this phone overheating, battery drain etc….

      Vishnuvishnu_cU5sKiIlSA Bi-monthly updates do not mean 60 days, this is based on calendar months. For example, it could be Jan 25 -> Mar 10, or Jan 10 -> Mar 25.

        SamarthNP1 we’ll get 3.1 just like we got CTS and everything else.

        I knew this was coming when I spent only £169 on a new phone.

        At some point, I’ll have to root and run different OS for updates.

        Edit: the update will correspond with the CMF2 roll out with the MTK D7400 which will nearly identical to the CMF1 MTK D7300 ROM.

        Also, the CMF2 coming out at 22k INR should raised eyebrows when the CMF1 was 15k INR.

          There won’t be a March update because, just like 2a Plus and NP1, the CMF Phone is on an evenly month update cycle: February, April, June,…

          Since Nothing usually only does bimonthly security updates, the next one will be April and they are typically releasing their security updates within the second half of a month.

          The last update was for February released on Feb 17th, so the next one will be April and should be released within the next two weeks.

          @CMF1_hacker yeah you will get 3.1 don’t know when but it’s 100% that cmf and nothing phone 1 will get 3.1

          I have nothing phone 1 already using custom rom nos is just worse specially battery and optimisation of apps which I use while on custom rom everything is just great only charging speed is slow which is the case with most of the custom roms but it compensates the battery backup which I get now

              I hope that by the end of this month, they are going to release something because low-budget phone brands will not focus on that. Also, there is nothing new; they will just release the Android security patches for April.
