Ahead of any product launches from Nothing, I’m curious to know which specific devices the community currently uses:

  1. Smartphone
  2. Headphones
  3. Wearables

Also, what new features would convince you to replace your current devices?

Rob

Hey ! I just upgrade from a OnePlus 7 Pro to a Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. For the headphones i use either OnePlus Buds or a Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2, and for wearables just a Mi Band 6. I’m waiting for WearOS to get better as they announced at the Google I/O 2021, and watches to use processors like the Snapdragon 4100+.

Great question! I’m currently using a Google Pixel 5 (OnePlus 5T before that), Pixel buds 2 and Nuraloop for earphones. I wear a G-Shock and mechanical watches as none of the android smart watches have appealed to me so far. Perhaps a Nothing smart watch or a Pixel watch will change my mind?

I have to agree with both of you, the history of smartwatches for Android users has been fairly lacklustre.

I myself use a Oneplus Nord along with a pair of Oneplus Buds Z, but like both of you, I haven’t found a compelling enough wearable to justify investing in one. As WilliamZimmer mentioned, the freshly announced promises for new WearOS features might change that soon!

        Fingers crossed 😁

Big fan of the Nuraphone, but not tried the Loop. Definitely a very high end product and certainly priced towards that end of the market, but I love the subscription approach.

I’m rocking an S20+ these days after a string of OnePlus devices (and a BlackShark 2 at one point). Fitbit Versa 2 for fitness tracking, but mainly just because my fiancée got a Fitbit rather than it being particularly good. 😅

It seems I’m gonna win the “cheapest products” prize 😁

          1. Huawei Nova (1st gen 2016, and it’s still rocking like a ’70s rockstar)
          2. Mi Earbuds 2
          3. Mi Smart Band 4

I agree with the smartwatches talk, but I’ll extend it to the smartphones market too: there’s no more innovation. The average user can easily perform almost every daily task either with a 200€ smartphone or a 1000€ one. Yes cam/display/updates/whatever, but speed and fluidity are - by now - way more than acceptable compared to the human responsiveness, so there’s no more this big difference in terms of usability as in the past.

Thanks for posting this, it’s great to get an idea of what fellow investors are using!

            I’m using an:

            1. iPhone 12
            2. Airpods Pro
            3. None - Though I will probably get an Apple Watch at some point (I used to wear the first Pebble Watch)

            Hi,

i’m currently using iphone & huawei mate xs for my phones, apple watch & amazfit X for my smartwatches, huawei freebuds studio & bowers & wilkins PX7 for headphones, 12″ macbook, 15.6″ geekwei portable monitor (can connect laptop as a second monitor or phones so that it’s like a giant tablet!). Those are my daily used gadgets

Great question! This is my gear:

            1. iPhone Xs
            2. Jabra Elite Active 65t or Sony MDR-1000X, depending on occasion and mood
            3. Apple Watch series 6

Interesting to see what everyone is using

            From my side:

            1. OnePlus 8 (have been a OnePlus fan since the OnePlus One, but they’re clearly changing for the worse)

            2. Bose Quietcomfort NC earbuds (great!)

            3. Mechanical watches (tried many smart watches and gave up - a tracking band that could go discreetly next to a mechanical watc

            would be great)

A great conversation for the investors.

I am using OnePlus 9R as my primary mobile.

My TWS buds are currently OnePlus Buds Z and also Samsung buds +

My smart watch is Fossil Gen 4 which is a wear OS. waiting for the upgrade now.

              That’s it from my side.

              Hey all,

              Here are my answers

              1. Galaxy S9 provided by employer
              2. Too many… Mainly Hifiman Deva at home, outside a pair of Jabra Elite 75T which I hate
              3. Miss my Pebble, had a Kronaby for a while but nothing for right now.

I recently switch my Oneplus 6 for a Sony 1 Mark II

As for headphones I usually use the Oneplus Buds or Sony WH-XB900N.

I used to use a Fossil Q gen 4 but Wear OS watches aren’t ready yet for this world. I’ll probably get a new smartwatch in a year or two.

The only reason I would replace my devices is if they break or are unusable. The best device would be the one that lasts the longest. Although that never works out for company’s with sales and stuff.

              1. I change smartphones all the time like in a month - Currently S21.
              2. Apple AirPods 2.
              3. None Currently But Most Preferably Apple Watch.

              Hey!

              Im currently using:

              1. Nord
              2. OnePlus buds z
              3. Samsung galaxy watch active 2

Feels great to be apart of this community! 😀
