I have a pair of Nothing 3a phones manufactured in March and April, both with firmware version V3.1-250417-1222.
The Nothing manufactured in April gets hot in the upper right corner of the screen and the bezel, but the one manufactured in March doesn’t. It’s a bit odd, as I bought the second one (the one manufactured in April) because I liked the fluidity and the fact that it didn’t get as hot as other phones.
Apparently, the component in that area is the Device Memory, and I’d assume that the memory brand, model, or something else might have changed due to the month of manufacture…
Is there anything that can be done? Apparently, it’s something that happens when data is being written to the memory, such as downloading files.
Is it possible that a future firmware release could fix some of this?
