Hi

today I had to take my earbuds out for an hour or so. When I then turned back on my bluetooth player and but the buds back in my ears I can’t get the to come on (I didn’t have the case with me)? Is that correct? If so then I think you should be able to turn them back on without the case.

  • Rob ⚡️ and Louis ☕️ like this.
  • RobIgo I don’t think there is a way to ‘wake’ the earbuds once they have ‘gone to sleep’ without the case. But this would be a nice feature to have in the future.

I assume the ‘find my earbuds’ feature in the app has the power to wake them?

Interesting discussion! Looking forward to learning more!

RobIgo Out of curiosity, what would be your suggested method of turning them back on from sleep mode? Would it be a ‘tap and hold’ on each bud for say 5 seconds, or is there some way that even though they are asleep, you can still wake them via the app?

    Did you try this @RobIgo?

RobIgo i think you will require the case to reconnect. Have been in this situation many times. Always the solution is to take the buds back home (case) and make them sleep for 1sec and then they are back😀

I tried tapping but not tap and hold for 5 secs. I’ll give it a try today 🙂

Just tried and no matter how many times I tap, tap and hold, rub them, ask them nicely 🙂 they don’t come back on. I really would like to have this option as sometimes you don’t have your case with you, get interrupted (for me on a long walk or run), my bluetooth player turns itself off after 5-10 mins if it’s not playing which means the buds will turn off and I’ve not way of turning them back on!
