AlexanderMilner Yes ,but you can’t do that with one hand .You have to pull down from the top screen with 2 fingers .You cannot just pull with 2 from middle of screen ,you have to go on the top..

use 2 finger and swipe down to view brightness adjust bar easily

I have bought another nothing phone 2 and it has another issue regarding google play updates i cannot update google play system updates u can see in screenshot here.

My nothing os is latest which is 2.0.4 and security patch is 1st October but my google play system updates is 1st march and now it isnt updating.

ZudoA it’s not like it’s some huge effort to just use 2 of your other fingers to swipe it down. If you’re too lazy to do that, I don’t know what to tell you.

AlexanderMilner if you don’t have some smart to say ,better don’t .If I need to use 2 hands ,when I want to use that stupid" 2 fingers rules ",I would prefer 2x slide down status bar ,it’s faster.

Rob ⚡️ hey can we have a separate nothing keyboard which we can customize and has the design of the phone. because the gboard that i use has certain deficiencies for example i dont have support for hindi input in the keyboard on gboard. for typing in hindi i have to first type in english and then it converts in hindi which is not really precise. also i dont want google to back up the data that i type. i think this might add value to your phone for users like us.

BjornStam_nFKLJqabIf Yeah probably. They close the downloads if they’re releasing a new beta/stable release. Wait a day or two and you’ll get a better version to test!

I’m currently on stable version , if I install beta will I lose my data?

caffeineash Open Beta 1 was released on 10 October and Open Beta 2 was released on 9 November. (Based on those post date created)

By this week, maybe we get Open Beta 3 and remember they released it staged. Some people get early and some people get after.

I remember when I was using OnePlus, there was a site/app where you download the OTA (Stable/Open Beta zip) and it was not from OnePlus, the community built it for the community. I hope we have something similar on Nothing.

When beta 3 came out,are we need to download beta 3 file ,or it will just update stand alone ?Im on beta 2 right now ..

There will be an update on the phone, no need to download a file. Also the update will be smaller.ZudoA

Main key selling point of nothing is software but they are not able to fulfill it’s more than a month for a update or security patch.

Some time camera take good photo otherwise always there is colour issue touch not work properly
