Recently I got the Phone (1), updated it 2.0.4 and went to set it up with my car. The phone was stuck into a connect/disconnect loop. With a Samsung A51 and an iPhone 7 I had no issues setting up Android Auto or Apple Car Play. The car is a 2023 Dacia Spring. Tried different USB-A to USB-C cables, reset the both the car head unit and the phone. I’m open to any suggestions/fixes. Thank you!
Connect/Disconnect loop when plugged to the car
I have had the exact same issue. And tried a lot, including your solutions above. I solved it using a usb A to C connector and using the usb-c cable that came with the phone (1). Now I connect, without any issue fast. Also make sure your car software is updated.
RKn_Hl79giZOMV very strange thing, unfortunately I don’t currently have the original cable that comes in the package, maybe I can’t do anything else with it
Maybe it works with a cable that has the same power / data throughput? I workaround before I had the solution was to keep tapping the connection options on my mobile. After 5 seconds it worked, somehow. This did not always work, but was better than nothing, of course.
RKn_Hl79giZOMV I honestly don’t know, more like how do I know what power it should be? But the strange thing is that with other phones and the same cable it works fine (even with the iPhone 15 series)
