romano Yes I saw your email from above, I think. There it says “See you at the store:”. Also the title is about the event invitation. If I compare it to my invitation email (which is in German) it looks fairly similar. So yeah, from what I can tell, you’re invited, too!

romano as far as I understood it there where 2 possibilities.

You got an email inviting you to the lake noch event where in some locations you might have a chance to purchase Phone (3)
You where picked as a winner of the Phone (3) 1st Edition lottery (if you participated) where you get the chance to buy a Phone and get like 400€ worth extras on top. That would have been communicated in a separate mail

Thats the confusing part, it says no where that you are able to buy the Phone 3…. Some people have to drive a long way, and if there is no phone 3 to buy why bother? Event is nice and cool but without a phone 3 its like going to the swimmingpool with clothes on.

OK I have news! (hopefully now final ones)

So as of now, everybody on the event will be able to get the First Edition there, to buy one so to speak. Also, the 400€ gift pack will be applied on purchase.

A quote from the support to clarify it:

With your invitation to the Community Launch event, you are guaranteed a slot to purchase the Nothing Phone (3) First Edition at the event. Please note that the €400 giveaway is a special offer that will be applied when you make your purchase, you will receive the gift pack as part of your purchase at the event.

romano It actually says the same: Win a ticket to the event and you’ll be able to attend PLUS have a slot to buy the phone (i guess if you don’t do it at the event, aka cancel your purchase, this is meant by cancellation)

Hey, which city did you register for? Because the answer I received from the support team was completely different (for Frankfurt in Germany) and I quote:

Regarding the community event on July 12th in Frankfurt, being invited to the event does not automatically guarantee the ability to purchase the Nothing Phone 3 at the store on that day. The invitation is primarily for attending the event and participating in the activities planned.

As for the “winners,” there is a separate selection process. Those who are invited to the event are not necessarily the same as the winners who will have the exclusive opportunity to buy the phone at the store. The winners are chosen through a different batch or contest, and they will be notified separately.

Did anyone here actually “win” a spot to buy the phone at the Frankfurt location?

Yes, this is an invitation for you to come and join to celebrate the launch of the Nothing Phone (3). Please know you can benefit from cancellations by other first edition winners and still secure a device. The non-winners may have a chance to buy, but it is ‘while stock lasts.’
