ajaYmadhav The Nothing Weather bases its data upon AccuWeather. So it’s not Nothing’s fault if it’s not accurate, but more Accuweather’s fault
Weather app is not accurate in my Nothing 2a.. I see Google displays weather as 27 where as Mobile app shows 36. Please fix this
Just to check, have you given all permissions to the weather app and set the location permissions to always? That’s how I run it on my 2a and it is always accurate.
Stringfellow_hawke yes I did.. it was already in the correct settings.. but weather is not accurate
DinOR Ah okay. And what is the battery usage set too? Mine is set to optimised, but you can try to set it to no restrictions too and see how that goes.
Yeah, i’ve sent a few feedback to Nothing regarding that. I wish they made an option to switch to other weather station apps, like for me in Sweden, we have smhi.se and klart.se which shows a more accurate location if not on the spot and a more accurate temperature than AccuWeather. Minor change but i would totally enjoy that. Sure, the regional weather stations got widgets too, but i want the Nothing Weather widget but with the more accurate weather information based of my actual location
I can confirm this, and i live in Sweden, have all permissions set but i have the NP(2) , Google shows a more accurate temperature and location than AccuWeather, i have also looked into our regional weather station apps (like smhi.se and klart.se) as well, and they are more close to Googles information than AccuWeather, i wish there was in an option in Nothing Weather App that you can change what weather station you’d like to use in the Nothing app. I know its a minor issue but it would be nice to have a more accurate information since the nothing app is so much cleaner and cooler than to use another weather app!
HrishabhPayal thank you. I know that Nothing’s weather app has data provided by AccuWeather.
Not sure who Google weather uses, but it just goes to show the fine margins of error that each forecast supplies. Not to mention the differences in locations for each weather point.
I use “Overdrop” as well as Nothing Weather, just to get a second opinion. Plus, with Overdrop Pro I can choose between 3 different providers. No weather forecast is going to be 100% accurate, but as long as they are all in the same ballpark, it is all good.
I am using nothing phone for 1 month now and the weather app partnered with AccuWeather is just trash because AccuWeather is not accurate in terms of predictions eg: In my city temp was 44 and it’s showed 48. So my humble request to please change the app or make abbreviations in next is update
I honestly never really had any kind of weather widget which was accurate on my phones. In my experience based here in Germany Accuweather isn’t really better or worse than other providers.
ajaYmadhav I have emailed accu weather regarding this problem . They are telling they will solve the problem as early as possible.
See it’s not about AccuWeather being wrong but nothing developers can also think about changing their service from AccuWeather to some other service provider like Weather channel which is also used by Samsung. So now It’s upon them to see about this issue.
SARTHAK GOHIL this this this ☝️
