kyl3 So that’s the excuse & we should expect & accept we will get shoddy manufacturing, no support, no replies, faulty devices, but we are charged premium prices & that’s down to us if Nothing uses companies that pay low wages.
Phones that cost £200 or less have better quality build than this handset, so the salary remark is irrelevant.
I don’t condone slave labour at all, but it’s not our decision who they get to make, supply etc, so I won’t accept it’s down to us in the grand scheme, which is what you’re kinda implying & regardless what salary is paid, which yes is wrong for sure, this is a QC issue, however I honestly believe Nothing knew these screens had issues from day one but they couldn’t delay release, so went with it, which now leaves us with issues & the fact they’re ignoring us & they still haven’t fixed any touch issues is signalling to me their intent.
The fact some owners have had replacement phones & they have the same issues also is a major problem.
What’s interesting is, when I curiously went to see if Nothing had the glass protector for sale for the NP2, it wasn’t showing as available, now call me a cynic, but one could hypothesise have they stopped selling this as they know the screens have uneven surfaces & the protectors won’t sit flat at all, food for thought.
