After the recent software update, I have encountered some camera-related issues that were unexpected from Nothing. Specifically:

The camera performance has degraded, especially in low light conditions.

There are noticeable issues with the Portrait mode, including poor edge detection and blur.

Overall camera quality seems to have decreased compared to previous updates.

I was quite satisfied with the camera before the update, so these changes are quite noticeable. I kindly request that these issues be addressed in the next update and that improvements be made to the camera quality.

Firmware (bot) in my phone CMF phone 2 pro the battery is draining too fast I don’t know why the batteries draining fastly I am not an heavy user. I only use Instagram WhatsApp spotify and some other social media apps I don’t play games or nothing like that. I am not even getting 7 and half hours and I am not using mobile Data or not calling too much I am an Full time WI-FI user and I will turn off wi-fi when not in use to prevent maximum battery drain. The Instagram and Spotify is consuming too much battery. Like at 26 minutes usage of Instagram consumed 17% battery percentage and 10 minutes of Spotify usage consumed 7 percentage. I don’t think that the battery is damaged because there is no idle battery drain So I think this is an software issue. I hope you guys will fix this as soon as possible.

🔋 Battery Drain (Even with Light Usage)

So I’m a pretty light user — mostly using:

Instagram

Spotify

Some other social media apps

No gaming, no heavy apps. I use Wi-Fi full-time (no mobile data), barely make calls, and I even turn off Wi-Fi when not in use to save juice.

Still, I’m not getting even 7.5 hours of screen-on time, which feels way too low for this kind of usage.

Battery usage stats are wild:

Instagram: 17% in just 26 minutes

Spotify: 7% in 10 minutes

There’s no idle drain, and I don’t think it’s a physical battery issue. Feels more like a software optimization problem — maybe background processes or app management needs tweaking?

🔈 Ringtone Volume is Way Too Low

Even with the volume all the way up, I can barely hear the ringtone in a slightly noisy room — even if I’m in the same room as the phone. Really hoping this can be fixed via a software patch or volume boost option.

📶 Wi-Fi Toggle Animation Lag

There’s this weird delay when I tap the Wi-Fi toggle in Quick Settings — takes like 3 seconds for the animation to show it’s turned on. Because of that, I sometimes think it didn’t work and tap it again… which turns it back off. Super annoying for quick toggles.

Just wanted to drop this here in case others are facing the same. Hoping the Nothing/CMF team checks this out and works on a fix. Loving the design and OS otherwise — just needs some polish 💯

Dear Nothing Team,

I recently installed the latest software update on my Nothing phone, expecting improved camera performance and smoother operation. While the update itself brought some nice refinements, the camera experience has unexpectedly worsened in a few areas:

Transitioning from 1x to 2x zoom is now noticeably slower and not as smooth as before.
The rear camera struggles significantly in low-light conditions.
The front camera performs very poorly in low light, especially at night.
Portrait mode has degraded, with poor edge detection and inconsistent background blur.
Overall camera detail and image quality have slightly dropped compared to the previous version.

I was genuinely happy with the camera performance before this update, so the decline is quite noticeable. I request that these issues be addressed in an upcoming update and the previous quality be restored, if not improved.

Thank you for your attention. Looking forward to better camera optimization in future releases.

Having fast battery consuming issue in normal usages! ❝ Galaga-V3.2-250425-1517 ❞ this version was good enough for battery and camera performance. Blue one is before update and other one is after update. Before in normal usages 12-13hr screen time and now 10-11hrs only 🙂

Sorry, but this issue hasn’t been fixed with this update yet. I still don’t receive notifications when my phone is idle, and when I pick it up, all the notifications arrive at once

I bought the phone on 23rd of this June, then when the update is coming I use cmf 2pro 8/256 Indian version. But suddenly this problem is coming in the phone update. Is it a problem in everyone’s phone or will it be fixed later or is it a bug? If you have seen the comment, please fix it somehow

I updated my CMF Phone 2 the other day to Nothing OS 3.2 and ever since then I’ve been unable to download most apps from the play store. They just get stuck on a certain percent and never install. I’ve also noticed that YouTube is really laggy and most of the time won’t load videos. I’ve tried to update YouTube, but that also gets stuck at a certain percent and won’t budge. I’ve disabled it, cleared the cache, enabled it again and still nothing works.

Is anyone else having this issue? My phone was working fine before the update, so I’m assuming it just be that.
