It looks wild, daring, and different! I have the Phone (2) as we speak, and it’s still one of the best I’ve ever owned- but this one makes me wonder, tempting as it is, whether it’s really worth the price.
Even with an option like Pay-in-3, it’s still a lot of money. I have a family to take care of. I could buy it, but it would limit things for a while. A couple of things spring to mind:
The cameras and the new Glyph Pixel Matrix—what sets it apart from, say, the Phone (3a) pro? Is it really worth the upgrade? And about the new pixel matrix and its accompanying button- will there be a transparent silicone case with cutouts for the button? Otherwise, the phone might be at constant risk of unforeseen damage.
That said, couldn’t the new Glyph interface be a bit larger? It seems rather small compared to the rest of the phone. I do trust its functionality and overall user experience, but €850–€950 still feels like a stretch for most.
Also, I might be wrong here, but didn’t it have an option for fast wireless charging? How much would a charger cost or does it come with the phone when you buy it?
A lot to think over here, it’s really a fight between the phone 3 and the phone 3(a) pro.
