Just pre ordered a White Phone 3 with the free earphones, also the 65W charger with 40% off accessories. I have the Phone 1 and it’s still awesome, but it’s time to upgrade. I admit I’ll miss the Glyph lights but things have to adapt and change. Nothing is all about doing things differently and things other brands don’t do. So what if the one camera isn’t symmetrical. Will it take worse pictures as a result? Of course not.
As for the outrage over the chip set. If you were given 2 phones with the phone 3 chipset and the one most people are bleating about but you didn’t know which phone had which one, in all honesty how many people would be able to tell?
Most people like me just want a good reliable phone that works well, takes decent pictures and we can mooch around online with.
Now the price. I’ve seen lots of people saying in the past that they wanted Nothing to make a Flagship phone. So now they have and as Flagship phones tend to be more expensive, why is it a huge surprise that Phone 3 costs more? Of course I understand not everyone can afford this. But that’s why Nothing makes other very decent phones for various budgets.
I’d like a Porsche, but I can’t afford it, but am I going to cause a fuss and demand they reduce the price to the same as a Skoda? Of course not, so why do you expect Nothing to do it?
