I compared the software from the nothing phone 2a and the 3a. You think it’s the same? Yes kinda but there are some differents.
Before start, I can’t cover all parts because the 3a isn’t my phone, in fact from a friend that I convinced to buy it. But now to the points I see that are different:
- There is a under battery a battery information tab with following informations: max capacity (very usuful) ; how many cycles ; production date from the battery and first use (of the battery I think)
This is something I would love to see in all nothing phones.
- All stuff related to essentials space (app, widgets…)
Sadly not coming to older phones but at the current state not that terrible.
- Camera has a new UI, Luts (which is definitely comming), new settings and more; personally I like most of the old UI more but both are good. What is new is a dedicated night mode as a tab and a document scanner (afaik). The rest is pretty much the same
Would love to see a dedicated night mode and document scanner for all devices
- Under connectivity there is a new catogerie. Qualcomm® aptX™ Codec-settings with some settings related to this stuff and higher audio rate transfer
Maybe not possible for old devices due to processors
- Nothing gallery opens from camera
Very important, please I’m waiting for it soo long to happen.
- I’m not sure if my gallery is just simple not up to date but on his phone persons got also categoriesed
