nothing os 3a Vs 2a

Hey community, I compared the software from the nothing phone 2a and the 3a. You think it's the same? Yes kinda but there are some differents. Before start, I can't cover all parts because the 3a isn't my phone, in fact from a friend that I convinced to buy it. But now to the points I see that are different: 1. There is a under battery a battery information tab with following informations: max capacity (very usuful) ; how many cycles ; production date from the battery and first use (of the battery I think) This is something I would love to see in all nothing phones. 2. All stuff related to essentials space (app, widgets…) Sadly not coming to older phones but at the current state not that terrible. 3. Camera has a new UI, Luts (which is definitely comming), new settings and more; personally I like most of the old UI more but both are good. What is new is a dedicated night mode as a tab and a document scanner (afaik). The rest is pretty much the same Would love to see a dedicated night mode and document scanner for all devices 4. Under connectivity there is a new catogerie. Qualcomm® aptX™ Codec-settings with some settings related to this stuff and higher audio rate transfer Maybe not possible for old devices due to processors 5. Nothing gallery opens from camera Very important, please I'm waiting for it soo long to happen. 6. I'm not sure if my gallery is just simple not up to date but on his phone persons got also categoriesed For me an important feuture Do you spot some differences? I know I'm a little late but what are your thoughts on this topic? Nicouschulas I haven’t heard anything about the battery page, sorry. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Sure it is an excuse, I am pretty sure they could re-bind the double-click power button as an optional Essential Space key, but it is their excuse and we’ll have to swallow it - whether we like it or not.

One funny thing, when I bought this phone, it had that feature of battery health information but the feature is just gone now I guess???

Yeah sounds great, phone 3a and 3a pro are way better then 3 in my opinion

Nothing phone 3a, the zoom lense is very good, the ultra wide isn’t that bad comparing to others and even the 2a (2a has good sensors but nothing don’t get the software for it sadly) and it shouldnt have this much of screen problems like the 2

3a is way better. I’d even say the 3a is too good for the price point

The screen is beautiful… next to an iPhone 16 the colours just look way better. The panel has no burn in issues or tinting like the 2a

Performance is amazing due to how slim NothingOS is. My 3a literally never gets hot… even after I once took 100 photos testing LUTs it only warmed slightly. My work iPhone 16e gets hot after taking 5 photos

IMHO 3a looks better than 2a
