Firmware (bot) Just a waste it is, thought we would be getting camera presets, camera fixes.

Nothing can’t even manage anything, just keep telling users we are working and all they work on is other phones and not NP2.

Start thinking about software development life cycle, most of the features are in Beta, Android 16 is coming but most of the features they mentioned in the Android 15 are in Beta phase.

Firmware (bot) It seems the Nothing OS development team might be quite small, possibly fewer than 5 people, given the significant delays in delivering stability, features, and updates. The pace of progress, or lack thereof, is concerning, especially considering the incremental versioning like OS 3.2

I presume they are still working on this. After all, for each phone, these sorts of features have to adjusted to ensure they are stable on the hardware within each device. I don’t think it would be wise to release such a feature until it’s as stable and reliable as it can be. I’m sure this will be released when it’s ready and will be appreciated.

Hotspot Manager is a basic feature which has been a part of Android system for years, but anyway, welcome.
No camera fix? Skin tones are still wrong after years of camera development. The photos lack detail. They are not even trying to do anything about it now. Forgotten device. Last flagship is worse than the present middle segment devices. At this point, they should openly state that rather than feature updates, only security patches will be sent to NP2. Do the monthly security patches instead.

First I thought nothing forgot that they had a previous flagship phone but after I received the mail bout the update I was a bit happy but after seeing the update log I was like:- -_- speechless

I thought we would get some camera upgrades or the new feature ‘essential search’ and I expected a july security patch

But no such kind of things

By now I don’t expect any major news from NOTHING anymore, fortunately my N Phone 2 still works well and has good battery life… it’s just the camera that’s disappointing.

NP2 was launched in July 2023, almost 2 years ago. If they couldn’t/wouldn’t fix the camera app in that long, I don’t suppose anything’s going to happen in future also. A bunch of presets/filters is not what I am talking about. At least the main sensor should be able to take a decent photo with usable detail and natural color, consistently.

Currently, Google has not released the July security patch, so OEMs will not be able to provide it.
