If it had map navigation for hikes and a battery life of over 24 hours with navigation, I’d switch from Amazfit. Great watch👌 Please don’t think about WearOS.

pixcel25 because it cannot compete with Oneplus watch 2 (1yr old). And it’s better to not bring OP watch 3 and galaxy watch.

Only one good thing about it is battery life

oliverwhite2711 It does not run on wearOS, at least the watch pro 2 isnt. They have it running on their own OS, so no downloadable apps or strava or anything like that

DecklinStoltzfus I know that. I was correcting what they were saying. They said “don’t think about watch OS” meaning, don’t use wearOS on the watches.

CMF1_hacker Technically no. It uses its own health tracking, but there is a strava link thing where it gives all your data to strava. Not sure entirely how it works or if it works, cuz I don’t use strava. But yeah it’s not built in. If you need the best health/run tracking, Garmin is still better

CMF1_hacker I’ve got the Watch Pro 2. It exports to Strava but gives you 1k for every 800 yards, so you get wildly inaccurate stats.

I’m hoping Watch 3 does things differently.

CMF1_hacker It definitely connects to Strava via the Nothing X app. Very easy to set up. For me, works every time with every activity. I have synced hikes, and walks and cycling data. GPS is very close to what my Garmin Edge measures in miles on my bike, within a few 10ths over 50 miles of cycling. But when you get to an intersection or make sharp turns on the bike, the data definitely looks like a strait line and not a curve, but again, no big deal. When going slower while walking or running, the curves show up. But as of 8/31, the HR data does not sync to Strava. Let’s see if today’s firmware update or the next Nothing X app update fixes that. HR data is pretty comparable to my Garmin HR chest strap. Only thing I noticed is that over 3 hours with 50 miles of cycling and continuous HR monitoring the battery drained 20% or so.

I will sell my £1000 Garmin for a Nothing Watch. I love my Garmin but it doesn’t speak tech enthusiast.

Controversial I know, but I genuinely think if any company can make a watch tick all my boxes I trust in Nothing.

Considering my 3a pro has better battery efficiency compared to any phone I have owned I think the above is possible.
