Connectivity of CMF Watch 3 Pro

Hello. I am considering purchasing the CMF Watch 3 Pro because I am attracted to its simple design.

I have heard rumors that the previous model had connectivity issues (frequent disconnections). How is the CMF Watch 3 Pro in this regard?

I purchased it and used it for about six hours.

Unfortunately, I found that not only was the connection lost, but the pairing settings themselves had been reset (when connecting to a Pixel 7a).

I’m hoping for an update…

My Nothing X on iOS can’t even pair

poipoipoi i would recomment you hold down the nothing x app and press app info or the i icon and then battery and no optimizations and turn on app auto start in setting (for the nothing x app)

Used it for two days.

Very frequent disconnects on iOS, when it reconnects it only does half-reconnects where notifications come through but everything else still shows disconnected and weather won’t update. Only fixed by reopening the app. Sucks.

Requested a refund from Nothing store and will be trying a Xiaomi S4 instead.

Since then, the connection has occasionally been interrupted, but I am satisfied.

I also purchased a Nothing Phone (3a) with 12GB+256GB.

My daily life has improved since I started using this smartwatch.

@poipoipoi I have the same issue on my Pixel 7a. The watch disconnects after an outdoor run and need to fully pair the phone again. Settings are still there. It seems to lose the Bluetooth connection. For the rest I am impressed with the watch.

After updating the main unit firmware, it improved significantly.

Since then, I haven’t seen any “disconnected” states.

Maybe it now retries when the connection drops? (This is just an unverified guess.)

The rapid battery drain has also stopped, and I’m quite satisfied.
