This is my first software update on Nothing Phone (2).
Waiting for the update and will make sure to give feedback.

Has anyone else had issues with their messages app since the update? I can’t call anybody via the messages app, which is kind of annoying.

eddie_lauder Yes ,me .And not only that .I’m cannot send SMS from phone app and SMS and calling from contacts app .

How can I delete the OTA beta Update app from my device?
I would like to remove it from my settings.
Please provide the steps to delete it.

Option to write feedback from Settings->System -> feedback is no longer there for 2.5.1 - polish language 
And I have a rather important feedback to report: while using third party Dialer app I can’t initiate any phone call. I tried three different dialer apps. I have set all permissions to yes and have set third party app as default phone app. One of the app (Right Dialer by Goodwy) is displaying this information as a popup “Error: java.lang.SecurityException: Not allowed to start activity Intent {act=andr…”. In Beta 2.5.0 third party dialer app was working without problems.
eddie_lauder Yes I have the same issue, it also happens in any third party dialer app. See my other post for details.

MarkM_gYwgF1fnwE Same here. No feedback option and camera sound is getting back by itself.
I am not so eager to runt about bugs. But it is really anoying, especially since beta2 was IMO less buggy than this final (see my other post about phone dialling from other apps than stock dialler) Fix it ASAP please.

In India we didn’t receive updates yet
ZudoA same problem. It says you have disabled a required permission.

To get this do I need to be already enrolled in beta? ?
And phone one how long or so need to wait another month I gave up Samsung for this device I pay good money I want what every other nothing phone users have android 14 or am I an after fault 
Raj3sh No need to enrol Beta bro because 2.5 is stable, no longer Open Beta.
But, if you want to install Nothing OS 2.5, the only route that can install early or faster is from Open Beta 2.
I rolled back to 2.0.4 because want to stay on Stable until 2.5 but I have not received it yet, thanks to the staged release. So I updated/installed Open Beta 2 and I got a 2.5 update from the System update. Not Beta update app. 
Even when I factory reset on Open Beta 2, it still shows me Nothing OS 2.5 update is ready to download and install.
kodo12 not really bro. There are 2 possibilities for bug
- Bugs that comes with the ROM
- Bugs that come because upgrade from Android 13 to Android 14.
My phone right now running this Nothing OS 2.5 and so far no issues atm. Major functions (call, SMS, camera, speaker, network Wifi/cellular and screen) work great and smooth.
If you asking me how my phone is ok, it is because I factory reset it after update 2.5. From my understanding, Android 13 and Android 14 have different frameworks, kernels, systems etc.
Don’t want to format also ok, but you will face some issues in future. 
AmirHussaini Sounds fair, however I don’t plan on performing factory reset. Will give it a try without reset then
