SoumyaNC You’re spot on — Nothing acts more like a hype-driven design company than a traditional tech brand. Their model is focused on keeping attention fresh, even at the cost of older high-end users. It’s bold, but risks alienating buyers who invest in their premium gear.
You mean unlike every other existing brand/OEM in the world, yeah. Oh wait, they all do the same because they’re businesses, and businesses stay afloat by generating revenue and turning a profit. No one is held at gunpoint to buy any product, you are free to buy anything you want. Also how the hell do people simultaneously call a product to be “ugly af” and talk trash about Nothing’s design team, but then they say how Nothing acts like a design company?! There is absolutely not a bit of logic there, lmao!
I don’t like Apple (the way they treat their own customers, plus other politics) and especially not iOS (but I do like iPhones hardware-wise). I also don’t patrol Apple communities 24/7, acting superior and preaching that everyone’s a fool for buying something I personally don’t like.
So how tf do some of y’all find so much energy and focus in your lives to do the same with Nothing… that’s beyond me. That level of obsession feels like a form of tech-fascism at this point after almost a month with the Phone (3) being out.
I’m really happy that you’ve chosen to be the personal accountant and financial advisor for everyone on the internet, that’s a noble goal, but seriously - don’t you have anything better to do with your time? Not just you, but everyone who acts like this. Seriously?
Edit: Even if people “waste their money” away they are still protected by the consumer protection laws (across the whole EU at least), so there is really no need for you to act like everyone’s guardian, not everyone is a little child, you know? Let people do what they want and like what they want, and if they like it so much to the point of buying it - how in the world does that affects to you go full-ChatGPT here and do a post about it? Comedy.
