Hi team and fellow Nothing users,
I’ve been using the built-in App Locker feature on my Nothing phone, and while it’s great to have this layer of privacy, I noticed it currently only supports fingerprint unlock — there’s no option to use Face Unlock.
In today’s usage patterns, Face Unlock is super convenient and widely supported on other devices for app locking. It would be great if Nothing OS could integrate this functionality too.
I understand that 3D face unlock (like on iPhones) is more secure, but even 2D face unlock can be a useful optional method, especially for non-sensitive apps. At the very least, giving users the choice would enhance the overall user experience.
Does anyone know if this feature is in the roadmap? Dev team, any updates or insights?
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. Let’s help improve the OS together!
