These modes can automatically cut off calls, silence notifications, dim the display, and even send auto-replies. Whether you need to study, sleep, or work out, simply switching to the appropriate mode will handle the rest. Two things that i dont like though or have a suggestion:

The dialer : Your current work makes it difficult to read who is calling. The White text is going to get mixed with the caller’w photo, making it difficult to read. Its better to give the text its own dedicated area with proper bg to highlight the text for proper visibility.
The Notes app: Samsung Notes app is the best out there but its lack of availability on other Android devices makes it useless. So if anyone is making a Notes app, ensure that its available on Play atore and compatible with other Android devices. Else users will comtinue to use Google Keep which is available in all devices.

I admire your passion and your skills but I really wouldn’t want all of this in Nothing OS. Aside from their product design I chose Nothing for a bloat free, minimal, close to stock Android feel.

This amount duplicate apps and skin changes is the very definition of ‘bloat’ personally and I’d far rather third-party app makers had a go at implementing your ideas than Nothing did. That way these are optional installs.

I chose Android because I can access any of my core apps; calendar, drive, keep etc. from the web, whether on a work PC or from my Mac. Duplicating this functionality but locking it onto the device / Nothing ecosystem is not what I want from my phone.

My biggest complaint with Essential Space & Nothing Gallery is that it is all on device. There is no way for me to access anything in it on my Mac or having Gallery pull data from my Google Photos library dating back to my OnePlus 1.

I feel that the more Nothing start recreating apps we already have, the further down this ‘locking in’ we will go. Not to mention the fact that we’d be pulling resources from other projects and we’d be the ones paying for all of this extra work in the end.

This would seriously be amazing! There’s so much cohesion with this concept that Nothing is missing–even to the smallest things like the red accent colors (a serious must-have in my opinion)! Also, a native phone and messages app is crucial in my opinion. It’s just not the same when there’s Google design and adaptive color throwing off Nothing OS.
