Respectfully, I think you missed the point, nobody is suggesting for one moment that the Glyphs are the only design feature (I personally only use flip to glyph) or what stands as the most important design feature for Nothing phones. It is the whole Nothing ethos, transparency, software interface, simplicity and hardware design and community (for me anyway) However, the fact that Nothing created and introduced glyphs, a feature which is essentially (love or hate them) a unique design which has become an instantly recognisable feature on Nothing devices, why at this crucial stage in their steady market acceptance and growth, remove a unique device feature? It will confuse potential new users/buyers, as to the direction Nothing has now taken, more importantly, for existing NP owners, have Nothing decided that’s the end of the road for the glyphs? I have said this before, I like the design of the Phone 3 really, but it should have been placed in the CMF family perhaps as CMF 3 Ultra? At £799.00 its really good but the questionable spec still struggles to compete with other flagship devices and the glyph matrix has raised many questions from seasoned reviewers too. Sadly, Nothing are presently brokering discounted deals in certain markets for the NP3, which for me tells the story. For 2025 Nothing’s CMF 2 pro and NP3a Pro set the bar as great products offering really good value, which are essentially Nothing’s strengths.
