Timer Design in OS 3.2 - A Step Back?

Is anyone else disappointed with the new timer design in Nothing OS 3.2? On my Phone (1), it has some weird quirks:

- An unnecessary scroll bar appears at the start.

- The start/stop buttons are way too large.

My font size is set to default. It just feels less polished than before. Hopefully, this can be fixed in an update

That’s the font problem used by Google not by Nothing adjusting your DPI or font size may fix the issue

sorry, didn’t know it was related to android update, actually it’s funny to see how much the functionality made by nothing differs from the default 🙂

This is Google clock mate, they just updated their clock and phone ui to material design.

Nothing doesn’t have a clock app yet.

Stereobasic True, but this behaviour is somewhat extreme in Nothing community (especially on both Nothing subreddits). And it’s even funnier when it comes from the same people (not talking about the OP here, just people in general) who keep asking for Material 3 Expressive to be added as soon as possible to Nothing OS, but when it is actually added to the existing apps, they suddenly find it all bad and terrible 😄

Edit: There is a recent thread around here, last updated two days ago I think, where people blame Nothing for a bug in WhatsApp, and they expect Nothing to fix that same bug 🥴

Anonymous931 this is fully correct. It will be interesting to see the NOS4beta rollout as NOS relies heavily on baseline Android. When all of these changes and NOS4 remain out of sync or with NOTHING attempt to migrate towards these changes.

I can’t wait for the montha of subsequent posts pleading to add the newest A16 feature to NOS4 followed by months of posts about when will this feature roll out to the NP1.
