I have been experiencing some issues with my Nothing Phone 3, mainly related to notifications and background app management. I’d like to share my feedback so that the team can consider improvements in future updates.
1. LINE notification delays
When connected to Wi-Fi, LINE messages sometimes do not arrive in real time.
There are delays, especially after the device has been idle or in sleep mode for a while.
2. Background process limit resets
I set the background process limit to “No background process limit” in developer options.
However, after several hours (e.g., after waking up), the setting automatically resets to default.
This behavior makes it difficult to keep apps like LINE running smoothly.
3. Battery optimization settings are unclear
In app settings, I only see the option “Allow background usage”, instead of the typical 3 options (“Unrestricted / Optimized / Restricted”).
This makes it hard to confirm whether LINE (and other apps) are truly exempt from battery optimization.
4. Wi-Fi sleep and push notifications
Even with “Allow background usage” enabled and “Sleep Standby Optimization” disabled, notification delays still happen.
It seems like Wi-Fi or push notifications are being restricted in the background.
Suggestions:
Please provide clearer and more flexible battery optimization settings (e.g., the 3-option system).
Ensure that “No background process limit” in developer options does not reset automatically.
Improve push notification stability for apps like LINE, especially when the device is on Wi-Fi and idle.

Nothing Phone 3を使用していて、通知やバックグラウンドアプリ管理に関していくつか問題がありました。今後のアップデートで改善していただきたく、フィードバックを共有します。
1. LINE通知の遅延
Wi-Fi接続時、LINEのメッセージがリアルタイムに届かないことがあります。
特に端末がスリープ状態でしばらく経過した後に遅延が目立ちます。
2. バックグラウンドプロセス上限のリセット
開発者オプションで「バックグラウンドプロセスの上限を設定しない」にしても、数時間後（例：起床後）にデフォルトに戻ってしまいます。
これにより、LINEなどのアプリを安定して動作させるのが難しくなっています。
3. バッテリー最適化設定が不明瞭
アプリ設定には「バックグラウンドでの使用を許可」しか表示されず、通常ある「制限なし / 最適化 / 制限あり」の3択が出ません。
そのため、LINEなどのアプリが本当に最適化から除外されているのか判断できません。
4. Wi-Fiスリープとプッシュ通知の不安定さ
「バックグラウンドでの使用を許可」をON、「スリープスタンバイの最適化」をOFFにしても通知遅延が発生します。
Wi-Fiやプッシュ通知がバックグラウンドで制限されているように感じます。
改善要望:
バッテリー最適化の設定をより分かりやすく（例：制限なし / 最適化 / 制限ありの3択に）してほしい。
開発者オプションの「バックグラウンドプロセス上限を設定しない」がリセットされないようにしてほしい。
Wi-Fi接続時やスリープ中でもプッシュ通知が安定して届くよう改善してほしい。
Nothing Phone 3自体はとても気に入っているので、ぜひ今後のアップデートで改善を検討していただけると嬉しいです。
