**Welcome back to the Nothing Newsletter for August! This was a great month with Phone (2) getting photo presets, Phone (3) receiving new features in Glyph Matrix, a monthly photo challenge, CMF Metro contest, some exciting updates to The Community Edition Project and even a new product tease. Let's break it down.** 👂3️⃣ Ear (3) is looking rather shiny in the new photos we have released across our channels. Excited as always to see how people end up putting these into effect in their photos! **B&W Film**: For timeless, monochrome tones. **Wide Angle**: Capture more in every frame with an expansive view. **Soft Focus**: Gentle blurs for a dreamy, cinematic feel. **Lenticular**: Creates sharp depth and layered textures. — Nothing Phone (3) has a few [new features](https://nothing.community/d/41207 "Phone (3) Update") this month with an update that brings new features to the Glyph Matrix. ![](https://cdn.nothing.community/2025-09-03/1756886795-772776-ota1-169b.gif "banner") Users have two new Glyph Toys to use with a compass and feed the fly. The compass 🧭 is a real time working compass built into the Glyph Matrix itself that can help you head in the right direction. Feed the fly 🪰 on the other hand is a quick game that tests your reflexes and tallies up new high scores to share! 🪞The Glyph mirror feature gets a boost in the same update allowing it to be used with any of the Phone (3) lenses, access the Glyph mirror by swiping down on the view finder while in the camera app and using your camera with the added assistance to help frame your shot. CMF1_hacker there are some problems i hope will be fixed with the update. The media player glitching in qs panel, cyrillic support for the main font (now i’m forced to use old dot font) and i really really hope they will add volume control in qs as well. + Essential Space update
