Hi, I am facing similar issues on my Phone (3) and also got contacted by a Nothing employee via DM a few weeks ago and sent a protocol file a while later.
Sometimes there doesn’t seem to be any or at best utterly slow data rates when using wifi with certain apps. Disabling wifi fixes this right away and the app data will load right away after getting back to 5G or 4G cellular connection. When enabling wifi again, it usually will also keep working at least for a while.
This doesn’t seem to be a wifi issue: My Galaxy Fold 4 works fine, my Galaxy Tab 7 works fine and even my Nothing Phone (2) works.
Some apps which seem to be affected regularly (but again: not always!):
- All kind of banking apps, even Google Wallet (tried adding a new card)
- My car manufacturers app (Mini)
- Discord, especially when trying to insert a GIF anywhere in chat, the .gifs just refuse to load.
- Rarely even Google Play Store didn’t work, it didn’t load updated apps or I wasn’t able to download an app
