Hi everyone, for the past few days, I’ve been noticing a serious issue with the NP3 display. I’ve been actively following the community for months and I am aware of the various display issues reported for this smartphone; however, I had never experienced anything myself until now. For the last few days, after setting a light, uniform background and a larger clock, I’ve been noticing that when the display switches from the always-on mode to the home screen (after unlocking the phone with the fingerprint sensor), the time remains visible on the background for several seconds. It only fades away when I switch to another screen, perhaps one that is brighter or has more contrast than the background.
To give a bit of context on the phone’s status: it was purchased new about 3 months ago and underwent heavy debloating and software optimization on my part, which I tested for months to achieve a stable setup and good battery life. It hasn’t been updated recently; the latest update dates back to the day of the last official software release (introducing the June 1, 2026 security patches)
Is anyone else experiencing a similar issue?
