NothingGalleryapp hat gerade 144 meiner versteckten Fotos ohne Spur ausgelöscht. Diese waren keine zufälligen Aufnahmen. Einige waren wichtige Dokumente, die ich für meine Zukunft benötigte, und einige waren die einzigen Bilder, die ich von meinen toten Großeltern hatte. Sie sind weg. Ihre App verfügt bereits über einen Stapel von Fehler und kaputten Funktionen, dies überschreitet jedoch eine Linie. Sie müssen eine Möglichkeit haben, meine Bilder zurückzubekommen, und Sie müssen mir sagen, was es gerade ist. Dies ist nicht nur ein kleiner Fehler. Es ist ein kranker Versagen von Ihrer Seite, der nur etwas Kostbares ruiniert hat. Es scheint auch, als wäre ich nicht allein hier. Warum haben Sie eine ungetestete App auf PlayStore veröffentlicht? Sie haben besser eine Antwort darauf, dass Sie krank sind. Die Menschen veröffentlichen seit März in dieser Community über diesen Fehler. Es ist 7 Monate her! Bugs are inevitable

Of course! I don’t mind a bunch of other bugs that this Nothing Gallery app had but there are levels to this.

They deleted all my important photos/videos and you expect me to be okay with it? It’s literally their job to look for critical bugs. People have been reporting about this particular issue since March. They did not give a shit. How long should I wait to get a critical bug like this fixed? Forever?

My language wasn’t unpleasant enough. I’m taking this to Twitter and Reddit if I don’t get a solution.

SpeedMirage They should acknowledge this serious issue by behaving responsibly. First of all, this should not have happened in the first place. Also, this is not a new bug, and many people have faced this issue. If you feel that they are intentionally ignoring this serious matter, you should definitely tag them on X. Here, however, I’ve noticed that even tagging is not allowed.

Totally agree. It’s on the devs to make their apps reliable. It’s better to do few apps well than to have an entire suite where no apps are reliable enough…

There are users who are way too demanding, asking for Nothing themed apps in all cases.

Anonymous931 this last paragraph is quite humorous. I don’t understand how NTL will fund the dev time for such apps, especially when most of those demanding users are purchasing an (a) series or a CMF phone with significantly less profit margin to support dev FTE salaries.

I have also encountered a similar issue. 7-8 pics I downloaded from the internet disappeared from the hidden folder after 2 weeks. Then when I digged deep, I realized that those photos had conflicting file names. For example: download.jpg for multiple images. I believe such photos get overwritten when you hide/unhide them.

CMF1_hacker I’ve got my photos backing up to a WD NAS automatically, then we make backups of those backups regularly. To other people they just look like normal photos of my dog and selfies with my friends, but I don’t want to lose them.

SpeedMirage Yes, this has happened to me as well, and telling to back up photos is stepping down from responsibility of answering WHERE THE HELL ARE THE PHOTOS?
