Okay, let me say… for those who wishes for this “liquid glass” effect. Just. Please. Stop!!! It’s completely unusable and non-readable, ruins all the aesthetic, feels too heavy and, be honest, ugly in some cases! I seriously don’t understand all members who really wants that glass effect🤦🏼♀️ Samsung’s GoodLock plugin was done especially for you.
These members that wish the status bar icons change… c’mon, for what this cosmetic for?! Do you really think changing icons will bring something? Like we all have more things for NOS4 to improve than just a few icons that are normal. Google made them iOS-inspired and if y’all only could know how much do I hate copying apple!
For the battery… well I’m that paranoid that had battery percentage in a status bar almost in every phone I had. Sometimes I went for a charger at 40% because I was afraid I’ll go away for a walk, for example, and come home without my phone. A powerbank became my every day essential from last autumn because I was afraid I could let my phone be a brick completely with 0%. But here in Nothing I turned that percentage off specially so now I only have a visualization of how many percents of battery do I’m having. And I felt much better without knowing this “important” info. I’ll still go with powerbank at winter just to be sure I can charge my Nothingie if will need it.
I’m using my Phone (3a) for almost 3 months already. Now I can’t even watch on these “fancy” coloured UI’s, I started to completely hate One UI sometimes because of this. I’ve got like everything I could ever imagine for a phone. It’s a perfect UI that’s RECOGNISABLE. Just hear me out, I’m promoting Notning in Threads on my native, so everytime I send a screen featuring NOS everyone amazes and asks what phone is it! Everyone is amazed by the phone, many people are recognising the brand and telling me they’d wish to have one or they have it already and all these who used the phone already are all happy if it not being full of useless apps and stuff. Many of those are impressed with AI functionality. I guess that’s what Nothing truly wish: to become more recognisable in every thing they do, even if that’s just a simple cable or sticker. So we need to remain the same that design language and improve it in its own way, not by copying.
It’s first time ever I don’t have any expectations about the new OS and I’m just ready to get everything they’ll cook. I’d only wish them to add more stuff for video making (at least simple Pro mode) and I’m facing some strange stuff while using both ears to listen to music but seems I’ll write to support mail if I won’t forget it.
If anyone wants tones of customisation and useless improvements, I’m saying as a previous Samsung user — go to Galaxy. The new One UI8 will allow you to do literally ANY sh&t you’d wish to do and Liquid Glass especially. I’m completely, fully tired of all this customisation, themes, massive UI changes no one asked for that ruin the overall sense of a UI. I’m already fed up with this! Let me just use my phone as it was designed for and Nothing was perfectly designed.
