Glyph light during Music Visualisation

After 2.5.1 upadate glyph music visualization is not working properly. Lights are not properly syncing. All this is happening after update.

Due you got your update via OTA. Then try restarting the device.

SoumabhaBhim I have same problem . Even by restart . Nothing did changed . Plus for the pedometer it’s only working while the phone is on . If it off screen not counting .

Eng.reham Pedometer is working just fine while the phone is idle 😉 I don’t use music visualization tho, so maybe someone else can check ?

Remi F how you configurat that? I tried but still it’s not counting the steps only if the screen on . If it locked it’s not counting .

SoumabhaBhim I’m not using it on the previous version but just tried on 2.5, I seem out of sync a bit with the song I played.

For the ringtone, it works fine.

AmirHussaini I think this glyph light is not working properly in music visualization as this feature is not released officially yet.

Eng.reham I didn’t configure it at all, I just granted the widget all the permission needed the first I put that widget on my homescreen, maybe you didn’t accept all the permission.
Go into the widget app settings and force permission. 😉

IDK we can report it as a bug because some users say the previous build working fine. (2.0.4 and below)

Remi F same thing . I did as how you said . The pedometer only counting while screen is on . If locked it’s not counting .

Eng.reham weird… did you try another pedometer app to see if the issue is the same with others ? (like google fit or samsung health for example)

Remi F yes . I’ve downloaded Google fit and positive it’s counting !!

I would like to ask you about another thing .. before update there option to make quality of the voice qulqm HD or HDX now this option disappeared I’m not find it anywhere

I think if they will work on stable nothing os : battery life camera voice sounds and yes of course a stable music visualization in one update would be perfect . And yes the pedometer too 🙂

Eng.reham Sorry but I really don’t know about the HD/HDX thing for audio. 😅

The software team is working hard, things are getting fixed one after another, it’s great to see such improvement over time. It just takes time !

Remi F actually it was in the setting and now no where . There were multi choices for it : qualcomm aptx audio and qualcomm aptx HD audio . Now there isn’t . 😊

Eng.reham you’re welcome. It’s under Bluetooth > Connection preferences.

2nd picture is advanced tuning, it forces your Bluetooth setting from default to what you want to set it but some settings may make your Bluetooth connection, and audio quality mess up. I set it as default. 😂

Glyphs are working for me blinking to music, even better than before. Now each individual light blinks. It’s completely different now, but it isn’t quite as bright as before, well I think they’re as bright but just don’t stay as long as now they actually dim individually also.

I like it way more now, so awesome.

I’m not sure if the glyph follows the beats or is out of sync and maybe someone can check it because I rarely use it. Hahahaha 😂

AmirHussaini this is exact problem what is happening after update. Lights are not properly blinking, and slowly turning off.

Yes, the lights are brighter & much more in sync while playing your song.

A bug for sure.

Try with a slower song.

AmirHussaini Same with my handset as well after updating to NOS 2.5.1 stable version via OTA. Not just for music visualisation, also for ringtones (May be because I use custom ringtones).

Some parts of glyph is too dim and others bit bright making it look very much not in sync. Just feels like power fluctuation scenes in movies where lights go dim and off for an instant.
