Mudassar No. The data is not getting erased and is intact. However they just suggest us to backup data to stay extra safe.

aaritgupta891 nihalmjoshi idts there would be any data loss in updating but there sure will be data loss if rolling back from 4 to 3.2 or 3.5 again but it’s still recommended to keep a backup of data even while updating

Anonny If you are facing an error while joining beta , restart your device once after updating the updater app and you’ll be able to join!!
Cedrik I mean this locks awesome but I’m noct quite sure if I sould join… I don’t want to lose my data. Does anyone know when the full rollout is planned to be?
Spandan Cedrik You won’t lose your data unless you decide to rollback to the previous version. So as long as you’re updating to 4.0 you’re okay
Spandan Cedrik Also the full rollout will be likely in Dec-Jan seeing the past timeline of 3.0. Might even take longer because of the increased features and stuff.
Sanjay_Yes Builds, with IND at the end, might not be included in the beta list. Getting, error, saying device is not in the beta list.
