Enrolled testers are encouraged to continue sharing feedback!] We’re excited to bring you the **Nothing OS 4.0 Open Beta**. This is your chance to try out the newest features from Nothing OS alongside Android 16 before the official release. **Here’s what you can expect with Nothing OS 4.0 Beta:** ‎ **📱 Phone (3)** Phone (3) introduces the AI usage dashboard in Essential Space, giving you greater transparency over large model activity. This update also includes general improvements and bug fixes, with better lock screen and AOD performance, optimised brightness behaviour, enhanced camera stability, improved Bluetooth stability and compatibility, stronger Wi-Fi connectivity and network stability, and overall system stability enhancements. ‎ **📱 Phone (2), (2a) & (2a) Plus** These devices now include the “Stretch” Camera preset, created with photographer [Jordan Hemingway](https://nothing.community/d/37673), which enhances photos with rich shadows and extended highlights for a more distinctive look directly from the Camera app. In addition, this update brings system-level app optimisation to improve startup speed, available under ***Settings > Apps > App optimisation***. ‎ **Other new features** 🟢 Pop-up View with two floating icons for faster switching ⏱️ Two new lock screen clock faces ↔️ 2×2 Quick Settings tile support 🌑 Extra Dark Mode *(**Settings > Display > Dark theme > Extra dark mode**)* ### ***‎-*** ### **✨ Essential Apps & Playground** Essential Apps are now live. You can create widgets with AI and share them in Playground alongside Camera Presets and EQ Profiles. Nicouschulas it’s a quick setting. It was a do not disturb button only but now it also have driving???? And the bedtime mode, which is cool

Nothing has changed. there is no customization of LOCKSCREEN CLOCK COLOUR. Just 2 new clocks. I’m a person who has collected each phone of Nothing Brand from the start but this is actually Disappointing that we are not getting any deep customizations. All we have is a white Clock with different styles. This was not disappointing. And for the feedback part, I have suggested it there too, In NOS2(ig), NOS3, NOS3.5, etc. Maybe harsh but true.

For everyone who uses Nothing Phone 2(a) and can’t join the beta, do the following:Go to apps and search for Beta Hub, uninstall the update, clear the app data and cache, and then install the update again.After that, follow the process to join the beta, and it should work (it worked for me).

Rob ⚡️ in the picture of the beta announcement we can see new icons in the status bar but in the beta i dont see any changes in the status bar, will the old icons be replaced by these new ones in next update? if not then please do it bcz new android 16 status bar icons looks very good whereas current NOS 3.0 icons looks dead.
