Nothing OS 4 is a complete disaster. First of all, there are barely any changes, and second – the number of bugs is overwhelming, making the system feel like an early beta release from years ago. If you’re reading this and considering installing it – absolutely DO NOT. The volume slider stutters like it’s running on a potato, switching between apps is terrible, and the new clocks look downright ugly. Basic features are missing, like adjusting the clock size, changing its color, or even having a wallpaper cutout effect (where part of the clock hides behind elements of the wallpaper) – things that should have been added ages ago. On top of that, the “extra dark mode” is a complete joke – you get light, dark, and extra dark, but in reality, nothing changes because the notification shade and quick settings are still grey. What’s the point of that mode if it doesn’t affect daily usage? This just proves that instead of adding real improvements, Nothing is throwing in useless features and breaking things that used to work fine.
