I have joined in open beta and after updating I am not able to see clock in AOD it only shows fingerprint icon

RohithTony I do not feel any of that. May be I got Nothing 2a when it got released. Post that I heard that there are multiple heating and screen related issues.

Nothing should look into that seriously

I’ve been using open beta on 2a since it was released and here is what I’ve found:

Volume slider is broken
Navigation bar has no pressure animation when circle to search
Extra dark mode seems to be only in settings app, even in quick settings it is not represented
If media player is on in quick settings, then new text animations display wrong when u closing QS
Home screen page dots are not attended to home screen. It stays still when you swipe from the bottom of the screen
Animations seem to respond slowly (parallel animations are needed) and they are sharp
If you press essential search bar from home screen, then sometimes the bar appears above the keyboard for a sec, keyboard closes also wrong
AOD is lagging
Performance and ram management got worse (phone barely keeps 2 apps in memory)

A few things to note / suggestions

Camera Presets:

So deeply happy to finally have this on the 2A. Pressing the button feels clunky, swiping up would be so much better and easier.

bug: Setting a default filter also is not working at all on my device.

Lock Screen

The new faces are just awful? The people need customisation that we don’t get from anyone else, give us access to fonts and colours!

It’s smooth for a first beta, not many issues on my end. Nothing OS is my all time favourite, just a bit sad to see a lack of features added.

Swipe up to the app drawer search sometimes bugs out if you go too fast.

Sadly, for a major upgrade in a phone that’s already fairly feature lacking, it’s disappointing.

Hopefully there’s more in future betas!

It’s good to add super power saving mode. Sometimes it may come in handy

Adding software for customise the lockscreen and Always on Display is also not like giving 2 clock face on each update.

Kastello the beta is pretty nice I just wanted to ask if there’s a way to pin settings in the camera app to the top bar like 50mp quality for example instead of going in the settings menu but anyways it’s really good and I hope to be able to make my own stuff with playground soon

I opted for the beta on day 1 of release and jere is my feedback

Extra dark mode: its cool but needs refinement. Notification panel and quick settings background DEFINITELY needs it.
Camera presets needs to be fixed as it shows a message “not all features work”
Animations are smooth but needs to be refined as it doesn’t work good in 60hz.
The status bar icons: It was teased, so I expect the newer style to be implemented soon.
I wish they just implement a simple gesture of swiping down from left shows notification and from right shows quick settings.
Nothing playground: need the access to more than widgets to be added. And some more informative widgets are needed. Eg: a simple month view of calendar. A timer widget etc..
Essential search: COME ON we all deserve full essential AI features. Just let us remap the power button or just add a widget for it. Also plz add the option to open the searches directly on browser.

A few suggestions:

Add the 90:10 split screen for multitasking
Allow us to use all widgets on the lockscreen.
Ability to use 2 ringtones for 2 sims.
The same font for all the apps. Consistency is extremely missing at this point.

Extra dark mode doesn’t work in the any other apps except phone settings, we can’t feel the the amoled screen, it seems like LCD displays.

if it implements it save the battery consumption.
Essential space for nothing 2a is necessary for the large nothing user’s.
Nothing phone app in OS 4.0 will be more expected.
