Subject: Feedback on Nothing OS 4.0 (Phone 2a)
Dear Nothing Team,
After a full day using Nothing OS 4.0 on the Phone (2a), I would like to share my feedback. Overall, the update feels under-optimized compared to the smoother experience of the Nothing OS 3.0 beta. The app optimization feature brings little improvement, and I have encountered several issues:
Always On Display does not activate.
Noticeable lag when switching apps.
Minimized floating windows remain frozen on screen after turning it off.
Camera filter scanning options do not work in either mode, reducing the user experience.
Suggestions for Improvement:
Improve general optimization for better smoothness, stability, and responsiveness.
Add more lock screen customization options.
Enhance battery management with smarter power-saving controls.
Fix multitasking issues, especially with floating windows and background apps.
Ensure Always On Display functions reliably with more customization (widgets, extra info).
Optimize camera performance, including filters and image processing.
Expand accessibility features (customizable gestures, inclusive tools).
Provide a direct in-system feedback channel for beta testers.
Positive Note:
The pre-set camera filters are well-designed and enjoyable to use, and I truly appreciate this feature.
