To @CMF1_hacker and @Anonymous931
I recorded this from my old Redmi Note 9S, running a custom ROM .
That’s what shocks me the most. This one-man project manages to feel fluid, expressive, and modern - while Nothing OS 4 still feels stiff and empty.
Here’s what my old phone can do (and Nothing OS can’t):
Beautiful bouncy effects and lock-screen transitions that make the Ul feel responsive
A simple double-tap feature on the lock screen that Nothing OS still lacks
Fluid, elastic scrolling on the home screen
Customizable quick settings layout and animated lock screen shortcuts
Soft blur layers and adaptive color tones that give the Ul life
And here’s the fun part - I can even change the icon shape, system font, and accent colors
Even menus like Wi-Fi, Battery, and Network settings have beautiful visual elements and illustrations that make the experience feel polished and engaging
Both of the gives us near stock experience while one is filled with customization and the other is crippled
Now tell me - if a single developer can make a near-stock ROM this fluid and customizable, why can’t Nothing’s full design and engineering team do the same?
I don’t mean any hate, I like nothing community and all the people who is here for helping other’s. But defending a company blindly that’s just too much.
(The video file was too big, so I had to compress it)
