Louis ☕️ How is “do a factory reset” an actual response? I have a couple work apps (Okta Verify and such) setup that are going to be a major PITA if I need to reset the phone.

I’m also experiencing problems with NFC on Phone(2) @ 2.5.2. Similarly to what KunwardeepSinghJagdev said - the Google Wallet app stopped working. NFC readers at shops show some bogus card number being read, followed by a ‘card does not exist’ message. There is no reaction from the app, no animations launch.

I do too face the same issue. I have been resetting my phone after not getting it unlocked for various reasons and now my contactless payment doesn’t work.

Card declined or unable to read. Very frustrating . Ongoing for over a week now with no fix in sight .

I’ve got the same issue (‘Card Type Not Supported’ when tapping phone on contactless) and have done for about a month now - when is a fix coming in?

NFC doesn’t work. Ive tried 2 google account with 3 different credit card…

No way.

I don’t wanna do a factory reset because my phone is configured with some works apps that I have to reinstall and configure after a factory reset.

Do you have a solution?

Contactless payments stopped working for multiple cards in my wallet on Nothing Phone (2) for a few weeks. Figured out the fix without having to factory reset the phone. Just needed to clear the cache for ‘NFC service’ and restart the phone.

To do this go to: Settings > Apps > See all apps > tap the 3 dots at top right > Show system > scroll down and select Nfc Service > Storage and cache > Clear storage. And then do a phone reboot.

An update of this issue.

After hard reset and installing again all the apps, because the backup didn’t work, NFC pays worked again but after 5 days and without do anything I have again the same issue….so frustrating although my workaround this time it’s to pay with my new OnePlus watch 2…

Amazon offered me a full refund and I am regretting for not accepting it (it is so tiring to install again the phone that I didn’t want to repeat it).

Some people really need to learn how to respect others. If someone talked to you in the same way you come here and demand things, I’m pretty sure you would hate it. Don’t do to other people what you don’t want for yourself.

Anyone facing issue with NFC payments under Google wallet after update? nothing phone 2 user. Problems started last 2 days.

Removed work account, updated Google app, switched off-on phone, tried several bank cards , tried in 3 different stores and I get a message that device isn’t recognised.
