Nothing OS 4.0 release date

I’ve been waiting for the update for my nothing phone 2 for releasing nothing os 4.0. When the beta got out, I didn’t covet for resting rolling out factory happen to my phone again. I read that the beta will be closed 14 Oct 2025. I uploaded this discussion 15 Oct 2025 but the update didn’t happen and the community’s news haven’t been written on the top. I want to know when would the nothing os 4.0 update officially come out for settings update system for my nothing phone 2? I need this to be replied. Thank you!

Rastin Fatehi if we follow nos3.0 timeline… nos4.0 would be released in January -fabruary 2026… if lucky we will get it in 2025

Rastin Fatehi I think another beta or maybe a release will be released on October 25th or at the end of the month. Or maybe early next month.

But why October 25th? Because in the teaser on the smartphone’s lock screen, it’s a date.

Rastin Fatehi OS update schedules are not usually announced ahead of time - you can keep an eye onFirmware Updates and Nothing’s socials for any releases.

In the past, the beta tests ran for 6-8 weeks typically before they released the public stable version for everybody. Personally I highly doubt OS 4.0 will go live this month. Mid November to late November seems to be more realistic.
