Hungry_Learner why not provide feedback with a use case, i.e. why should it be implemented? I mean it half of posts are “yo, look at the transparent control panel 💪💪💪💪🔥🔥💪🔥💓💪💓💪💓💪💪💓💓💪💓💪💓🚣♂️🧊” who do you expect to happen.
Also, is it in alignment with the ethos of NOS, which is literally NOTHING OS and not BLING OS which most other mobile phone providers produce?
Can anyone show me where transparency or dynamic island does anything productive or saves battery, or something useful. If so, I’m willing to listen.
JochieSantiago I think so. The sharing of EQs and camera presets is already pretty cool.
The sharing of Apps, which appears to slightly-enhanced widgets, is pretty damn cool. The F1 is the only one I use a lot as it’s F1 season and allows me to plan by 24-hour weekend appropriately. I have a fair few friends from other cricketing countries, so I installed that one as well.
There might be some useful ones … like posting moon effects/eclipses from around the planet or for religious purposes for Sabbath or prayer.
The Google App is on a slide towards locking down and this will all be employed outside of the store.
I’m not an alpha/beta tester of widget creator, which likely will be quite cool if implemented correctly.
I do tire of these, yo can I change my clock colour and I hope the widgets/apps allow everyone to build what they want and share.
This sharing mechanism is also hackable and third-party non-Playground options are already available, especially for presets and you can make the phone do wonky things with the presets.
