Nothing 3A Pro, O. S. 4.0 (Beta test)
Good day! First 24 hours of testing.
Everything runs fast and smooth — the touch response feels soft and precise. For new users of the Nothing Ecosystem (3A Pro), it’s now much easier to get used to their device.

Bugs noticed:
When swiping up quickly and switching to another open task, there are occasional minor lags. Once I even noticed a “white background” on a task (it’s a beta version, so that’s totally fine).
Pop-up View — works perfectly for its intended purpose.
I tried every watch face — all of them look great.
2×2 tiles are very convenient, thank you.
Extra Dark Mode is a nice feature, though since I’ve been using Dark Theme from day one, Extra Dark feels a bit heavy on the eyes. I switched back to the regular Dark Theme — it’s more comfortable for me. 🙂
The Essential Search Panel has become very handy. I completely switched from AI search bars (Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, and even Google) to Essential — it’s far more convenient and functional.

Note:
I’m looking forward to the integration of an Essential Browser and Essential AI directly into the search panel — with the option to uninstall or keep third-party apps as users prefer.
In my opinion, this would free up space, reduce processor load, and enhance the minimalist style, spirit, and idea behind Essential. 🤔😀

Optimization works great — my device no longer gets warm
During downloads and updates, the 3A Pro maintained a steady, slightly warm “base” temperature — no overheating at all.

A set of smart tools:
AI Usage — excellent feature; I can easily track through which AI the interaction occurred.
Essential Space — everything works perfectly.
Observation:
When launching, a yellow dot appears in the upper-right corner above the battery percentage (similar to the green dot when using the camera). While the green dot during camera use is barely noticeable, the yellow one in Essential Space is quite visible. If possible, please move it slightly to the right of the battery percentage. 🤔
Wallpaper Studio — one of the first features I explored when buying my Nothing device. Works flawlessly. 👍👍👍
Essential News — all good.
ChatGPT Widget — convenient integration, works great.
However, I’d love to see Essential AI (Nothing’s own) take its place — it feels like a perfect fit. 🙂
Interaction with AI ChatGPT runs smoothly, with no delays.
Stretch:
The “Stretch” camera preset is nice — under the right conditions, it looks impressive. You can really see the photographer’s touch. Much appreciated!

Conclusion:
Nothing OS 4.0 for the Nothing Phone 3A Pro is excellent. After the first full day, everything works great overall, aside from a few small bugs.
It’s clear a lot of work went into this — thank you to everyone involved, from the first idea 🤔 to the final product 😅
