Nothing Phone 3a or CMF Phone 2 Pro?

I’m planning to a buy a new phone, solely because the current device I’m using is burnt out, I’ve been using it for a half a decade and now it basically stopped functioning. I’m on the fence about buying either Phone 3a or CMF Phone 2 Pro. I don’t use my phone that often, majority of my work is been done on my laptop I only use my phone for calling and payment purposes that’s one reason I’m not thinking of investing a lot into my phone. Some factors that I consider while buying a new device is it’s durability, how long it can last. Feel free to assist me!

Neither Nothing or CMF, go for some other brands like Samsung/OPPO/OnePlus.

lordswangil I’m choosing Nothing because of several reasons that other companies don’t offer.

CMF P2P for your use case. It’s very similar to (3a), just slightly less polished aesthetically but you can fairly easily replace its battery when it fails (doable on (3a) too but nowhere near as easy). Software is same, experience of using them is identical, although (3a) have Glyph Lights, which is very handy for silent notifications, timers etc.

qwezrd can you explain for calling, texting, some camera snaps and basic payments purpose why you need an overpriced iphone?

I am not against IPHONES but as your need you should select your handset. You wouldn’t buy a play station for playing candy crush i guess..

I own both devices, and honestly, the experience feels really similar.

CMF Phone 2 Pro has slightly better battery life (mainly due to the processor)

Nothing Phone (3a) performs better in the camera (with OIS, photos taken through 3rd party apps like WhatsApp look clearer)
