Hi, I am experiencing some bugs in Spotify since latest Android 14 update on my Phone (2). The app is not attached to the active apps section although it runs. That is leading to interruptions / muting the sound in Spotify while the content keeps playing.

Does anybody else come across that issue?

    I have exactly the same problem, as described, apparently the app silences itself and the playback continues despite that, when you try to replay it returns to the minute where the app was silenced. A temporary solution is to leave the application open and lock the cell phone so it doesn’t get stuck. I hope they fix it in an update.

    Hi, issues’s gone lately somehow, at least I didn’t notice it lately. Maybe the latest (nothing) update fixed it.

    Hey @kill_mm @BlueWhale @BernardoUv what are the exact ways you are finding this? Are you listening in online/offline mode? Using earbuds or not? Playing over BT? I also use Spotify on my Phone (2), 99% of the time on offline mode using my Ear (2)s and have not experienced such issues.

    The music playback in Spotify while in the background suddenly pauses without any apparent reason. However, upon checking the notification panel, I can still see that Spotify is active and seemingly functioning. It appears that the app itself isn’t crashing but rather experiencing an interruption in playback. Why is this happening?

    Kilian Haugk I am facing the exact same issue as of 28th march, 2024. My device is 2a. Sometimes the contents of spotify gets paused randomly. Is there any solution for this?

      When i run spotify it plays smoothly for a little time and then suddenly the speaker stops working. But when i check the app it shows that the music is still playing. The issue gets fixed when i pause and resume the song. This occurs multiple times under the span of 3 minutes and its quite irritating because it wont even let me listen to one song properly without stopping in between.

      This is happening to me as well, with 2a. Listening via Bluetooth online

      My issue is the app is moving on the next song but simply stops instead of playing the song
