Spotify Mutes

This happens EVERYTIME I use Spotify. Whenever i just play it from the notification shade or the app and not active on the Spotify app, the app simply mutes but continues playing the song.
As soon as I open the app again, it immediately resumes audio.
So now, I have to resort to keeping the app open. If i dont have to use the phone, open the app and lock the phone so that Spotify is always active, or if I am listening while using the phone, i have to regularly open the app to get the audio.

Started happening to ,me after updating to 2.5.5 in phone 2 ….. audio stops playing and shows that music is still playing in app
Initially there was the issue of the Spotify player being blur in the notification area. After that was fixed this issue of the song automatically muting but continuing to play began. Wonder when it will be fixed.

I got it fixed by removing the pin media player

Really annoying bug. Happens to me every minute or so with my Phone 2. With and without bluetooth. Tried to unpin, didn’t work.
Please FIX IT
I don’t know if it is related, but my Bluetooth connection to devices also interrupted eventually now and then.
I opened a thread with this problem a few months ago and reported it to Nothing too, but no luck. It’s a very random bug. It happens often and happened to me while my earbuds were not connected. It seems like a Phone 2 bug with Spotify.
Having the same problem, I Get one song to play and then it stops. Tried clearing cache / Data , uninstalling / reinstalling no luck.
